We are pleased to offer you a wide selection of classes and concerts featuring both the fretted and hammered dulcimers. This festival is continuing to grow and we would like you to be a part of it. This year we will have a variety of jam sessions on Friday night. We will gather at 6:30 for a welcome and a description of the jam sessions that will follow. We will then offer several different sessions, including celtic, old time, and a slow jam. These will be hosted sessions and the leaders will make everyone feel welcome at whatever level !. We will also offer an open mike that evening and we would like you to sign up on your registration if you want to participate at the open mike.
Location
The festival takes place at College Park Baptist Church in Winston-Salem,
NC. It is located at 1701 Polo Rd, just west of the Polo-Reynolda
intersection, two blocks from Wake Forest University. One of
the easier ways to get there from the west is to take Business
I-40 to the Silas Creek Pkwy exit. Go north on Silas Creek to
Reynolda and go north on Reynolda to Polo. When you get to the
light at Polo Road, turn left and the church is directly in front
of you. There are more detailed directions at the church web
site www.collegeparkbaptist.org
and there is also a printable map linked here.
